From Fiber to Fabric
Using PowerPoint, Patti describes the design and printing process of quilting fabrics, using her knowledge from years of working at Northcott. You will never look at fabric the same! A Question & Answer period follows.
Interesting Quilts From Unusual Fabrics
Have you ever wondered what to do with those panels, patches, stripes and scenics that you see in the quilt shop or have in your stash? Using a trunk show, Patti will spark your creativity and fill your head with ideas on how to use those unusual fabrics.
Alternate Gridwork is a modern quilting design element that is frequently used by modern quilters, and a tool to help showcase the modern quilting design principles of NEGATIVE SPACE, NO BORDERS, MINIMALISM, ASYMMETRY, EXAGGERATED SCALE, and MODERN TRADITIONALISM. Using an ever-growing stack of quilts, designer Patti will show how you can incorporate alternate gridwork in our quilts to create interest and add energy.
